Chinese tycoon sentenced to life in prison for smuggling, bribery

Lai Changxing, is a Rich man that who spent more than a decade as a fugitive in Canada. Now China courts of south west of Xiamen condemn him to life imprisonment because of smuggling and bribery. Police say that in 1990, he managed a drug operation. Lai was born into a peasant family, he was richest businessman and characteristic of China. His company promoted all most popular products in all countries. Promoted cigarettes, cars, oil,...

The government denounced him, and was accused of by many government officials. Nobody knew how Lai escaped of the police and went to Canada. But Lai was finally captured. He took full responsibility but didn’t worked alone.

Lai is now in jail in China paying for the damage done and by to escape of

the authorities. They couldn’t convict him before in China because they would be executed and Canada doesn’t allow it for law.

In my opinion the fraud, smuggling and the bribe will have more control for the police and other authorities. There are people obtain money through of honest people.
