International Women’s Day: 10 misconceptions about domestic violence


SUMMARY:

Alesha Dixon goes Avon, Campaign against domestic violence. This week, Alesha Dixon led domestic violence survivors, families of victims and activists on a walk of hope in Westminster. We have to ensure the safety of future generations, educate young people not to mistreat and to reach resourceful women will see the dangers. Alesha also says that we need to teach young women the signs of an abusive relationship and have misconceptions about which is a relationship.
Alcohol and drugs can make a man more violent. Many abusers have been abused as children. The man who beat his wife didn’t stick in conspicuous places because they know they do wrong. It’s believed that the abusers have a mental illness that only do their wives. Many men abuse their partners emotionally, without having to resort to physical violence. The women have to cross the boundaries of feelings in order to get away from her abuser.


OPINION:

I see as society progresses and modernize. I realize the variety of types of ideas, good and bad. This well that there are people who is tired and wants to end the violence. A few years ago there wasn’t help for battered women, but now if there is. It's horrible that a man thinks that women are worthless, women are human beings too. Nobody has to hurt anyone.
