Women Won This Time, but Men Are Voting's X-Factor

SUMMARY:

Studies have shown that most women vote for Barak Obama and the men vote for Mitt Romney. But it’s also true that men are more hesitant.
When it comes to elections, men as a group are more influential because they show loyalty, but women don’t. That is why presidents usually focus more on issues that concern to women, such as abortion.
Paul Kellstedt has some ideas. The associate professor in political science, studies Kellstedt what American men and women want from their government and how that changes over time.
As a group, women tend to prefer bigger government with more health and social welfare programs, men lean toward smaller government that spends less, except in the military issues.
Besides the traditional role of women as caretakers of the family, who live longer than men so they are more likely to rely on Social Security and Medical. Women are more likely to be poor. They are more likely to be single parents struggling to pay for child care, education and medical expenses. Men may feel that many of the social programs are expensive and will not benefit.

PERSONAL OPINION:

Maybe women and men express our opinion different in time to vote for someone as president. Each gender has its problems and concerns. Depending on the ideas that candidates have, we tend to vote for one or the other. In my opinion, knowing the ideas of each candidate, I would vote for Barak Obama, it can also be because Obama represents the middle class families, instead of Mitt Romney who represents wealthy families.

Egyptian judges in Alexandria to strike over constitution

SUMMARY:

Judges in the Egyptian city of Alexandria have decided to go on strike in protest at a decree issued by President Mohammed Mursi which shields his decisions from judicial review.
In protest, angry youngsters threw stones at police officers and burned a police car. This has happened because they do not accept the new Egyptian president's decision to grab the new powers. Police fired tear gas. There were also protests in Port Said, Suez and north of Cairo.
Last Thursday, President Mursi issued a decree that puts his decisions beyond any legal challenge until a new parliament is elected. Opponents immediately accused him of kidnapping the Egyptian revolution.
United States expressed their concern for the President's decision. But President Mursi (Egyptian President) would not hear anything.
The president's aides said the decree was intended to speed up a protracted transition to democracy that has been hindered by legal obstacles.

Egyptian judges are meeting to respond to the president's move, which put him above the judicial oversight.
Although Washington has praised Egypt for its part in bringing Israelis and Palestinians to a ceasefire on Wednesday, it expressed reservations about Mursi's latest move.
The EU urged President Mursi to respect the democratic process, while the United Nations expressed fears about human rights.
Since Mursi has risen to power the Constitution has been in constant change. But when making the parliamentary elections, Mursi have to leave the constitution in place.

PODCAST

Do you want to know how my ideal music programme would be?

First of all, I will try to have lots types of music and the music will be of different styles because like this all the people will be able to hear the programme. There will be since electronic music, rock, Ballad, Latin music, Jazz, Rap, Tango and more.
Moreover, I will try to make the programme more popular by phoning people and waking them up and also they would be able to telephone us asking for the songs they want. Furthermore, every week we will have an artist and we will interview him or her. Every day there would be a meeting where we explain amusing anecdotes of daily life, with the aim of making people laugh to all who will listen.
I don't like the commercial ads on the radio, so I would put commercial ads in fewer hearings schedules. I would try to reduce them as much as possible.
So, having all these things on a radio music programme would make the radio more popular and people would have a great time listening to it!

THE BEGINNINGS OF THE INTERNET

DEFINITION:

The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (often called TCP/IP, although not all applications use TCP) to serve billions of users worldwide.

WHEN WAS INVENTED THE INTERNET?

The Internet as we know it today first started being developed in the late 1960’s.

In 1982 the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) was standardized and the concept of a world wide network of fully interconnected TCP/IP networks called the Internet was introduced. Access to the ARPANET was expanded in 1981 when the National Science Foundation(NSF) developed the Computer Science Network (CSNET).

INVENTOR:

A single person did not create the Internet that we know and use today. Below is a listing of several different people who've helped contribute and develop the Internet.

The initial idea is credited as being Leonard Kleinrock's after he published his first paper entitled "Information Flow in Large Communication Nets" in 1961.
In 1962 J.C.R. Licklider becomes the first Director of IPTO and gave his vision of a galactic network. In addition to the ideas from Licklider and Kleinrock, Robert Taylor helped create the idea of the network, which later became ARPANET.
Lawrence Roberts and Barry Wessler helped to create the final version of the Interface Message Processor (IMP) specifications.

Other people helped create the Internet too.

WWW
Tim Berners-Lee introduces WWW to the public in 1991. WWW meaning  World Wide Web, and is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.

IMPACT:

Since the 1990s the Internet has had a drastic impact on culture and commerce, including the rise of near instant communication by electronic for exemple:
